Kendra and Rob Knapik founded Ellison Estate Vineyard in 2018 when they purchased an abandoned vineyard on a 50-acre farm in Grand Isle, Vermont. With their three young children in tow, the Knapik family lives on the farm during the growing season. Together with a small team, including sheep that are integral to the process, they grow the grapes, make the wine, and run the business. Kendra and Rob are working to restore the land’s health using organic and biodynamic farming practices and have a strong commitment to regenerative agriculture.

In 1998, Marinko Rodica, a car mechanic by trade, decided to start a new chapter in his life and became a winemaker. The brand new environmentally friendly and energy efficient wine cellar was completed in 2012. None of this would be possible without Marinko’s vision and passion and the support of his entire family. Today, Rodica estate organically farms 15 hectars of vineyards, with most of them planted with Malvasia and Refošk.

We are partnering with Ten Bends and the community by including hyper-local fundraising efforts for VT flood relief. Please join us in raising funds to help Lamoille County victims on Saturday August 12th from 12-7 PM.

There will be music by Dylan Murray and Dark Star Project, wine by Cork, food by Hook and Peel Pizza, and plenty of Ten Bends Beer. The food starts at Noon, and the music starts at 2 PM.

A portion of beer sales and 100% of wine and ticket sales will go to Vermont flood relief and recovery efforts.
